This swinging quintet played its first engagement on a “Happy Feet Monday” swing
dance night at Joe’s Great American Bar & Grill in Burbank, California. With a Swing
Era repertoire, great period vocals, outstanding solos and a solid beat, the Devils and
Angel were an instant hit with the dancers.

The band plays hot swing that recalls the sounds of Count Basie’s small groups, Fats
Waller and his Rhythm, Teddy Wilson and his Orchestra, Eddie Condon, Pee Wee
Russell and other classic jazz artists. Albert and Chris are outstanding soloists.
Together with Chris, Katie, Dave and Hal provide the swing rhythms that dancers love.
